Darkness Falls

What else can you do when it gets dark at 4pm? Heres another evening shot from back in may, this was taken at about 8pm...

Learning Curve.

Here is one of my first pictures taken with my Nikon, Unfortunatly I used a high ISO and the picture is quite noisy. It has annoyed me because I love this picture and I can almost guarantee that this shot will not happen again. So as for the heading of todays blog, I will be checking in future..

Woodland!

Living close to the Royal forest of Salcey in Northamptonshire often gives me inspiration. Heres one I did a while back. B&W certainly made this picture.

Two Minutes after taking this the storm rolled in and I was soaked.

Is it just me or is there always something else you need for photography, another stand, another strobe, another lens etc etc... It must be the same for other creative activities I assume but maybe not at the same cost! Watching the Joe McNally Video today on strobist has assured me that I need several more Speedlights! Watching the Reverie video on vincent laforet's blog has meant I desperatly require a 5d Mk2 and some of the clips on Chase Jarvis's Blog, well lets just say if the cuboard wasnt bare before hand it would be now!

A Picture to start...

I took this at The Cotswold Wildlife Park a couple of weeks ago, Even though the eye are is very dark I love the picture. I cant put my finger on the reason why but I cant help wondering what this Meerkat was thinking!
